This short note is to welcome you to the IT Strategic Planning Blog.
As its name indicates, the purpose of this blog is to talk about the challenges faced by CIOs and IT Directors:
- Reconcile the IT Department’s needs with those of the rest of the organization.
- Making sure that IT fits in the Business Strategic Plan (Alignment).
- Ensure that the technical staff understands that IT must support the organization.
- Provide a higher Return on Investment (ROI) for IT Projects.

Congratulations on your blog! Very exciting. If it is configured correctly, you should receive an email notifying you of this comment.
Pretty soon the comment spammers will find you. You’ll know when this happens because you’ll start getting comments from AJUPPUF and his cousins GGUKWWE and UEFJJJUUE. (UEFJJJUUE is cute, but she’s nothing but trouble.) You’d be smart to activate your Akismet now. Getting the API key is a 5 minute process. Then you’ll be good to go, and all comment spam will be automagically handled.
